A 19-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter after a man died of an overdose in Dartmouth last year.

Halifax police say it was November 10, 2024, at a home on Craigburn Drive.

Eighteen-year-old Darian Clayton-Fleet was found dead inside.

Monday night investigators arrested the suspect who will appear in court, Tuesday facing charges of manslaughter as well as criminal negligence causing death.

Police say investigators are not looking for any more suspects, however, they do ask if anyone has any more information to call police at 902-490-5020.
