Progress is coming along at Mariners Centre.

The expansion site is moving along nicely.

Construction of the new Credit Union Wellness Centre began in the fall, and has seen foundation poured, walls erected and the start of swimming pool construction.

The project, which will house a pool, fitness centre and walking track is expected to be ready by the fall of 2026.

It’s being built adjacent to the Mariners Centre as a separate facility.

Funding has come from the owners of the building: Town and Municipality of Yarmouth and the Municipality of Argyle, along with the province, feds and donors.
