Gas up, diesel down in N.B. this week

More ups and downs for fuel in New Brunswick.

Diesel and furnace oil prices dipped this week, down 5.5 cents a litre.

The maximum price for diesel is around $1.47, and furnace oil is around $1.37.

Meanwhile, regular self-serve gas increased by 1.4 cents to around $1.42.

The Energy and Utilities Board made its weekly price adjustments overnight.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.35 to $1.39 per litre, while diesel sells for between $1.41 and $1.45 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.45 per litre, diesel costs around $1.52 per litre and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.15 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
