The Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra is travelling to visit some other communities in the region.
The orchestra is set to perform in Kenora and Dryden as part of its 2025 Regional Tour.
RBC Resident Conductor Frédéric-Alexandre Michaud and the orchestra will perform a mix of classical favorites, movie magic, and pop-inspired pieces.
The tour is in Kenora on Wednesday, performing at Knox United Church, featuring tenor Leonard Whiting.
On Thursday, they are travelling to Dryden to perform at the Dryden Regional Training and Cultural Centre.
“There’s nothing like the energy of a live performance,” said Michaud. “Whether you’re a longtime classical fan or just curious, our concerts are all about connection, excitement, and pure musical joy. We can’t wait to share this tour with you!”
The tour is also making stops for concerts at schools along the way, including in Pelican Falls on Wednesday.
The first performance on the tour was held on Tuesday in Sioux Lookout.
Tickets for concerts are available at the local venues.
