Snowy weather and icy roads on Monday have disrupted transportation and school schedules in Thunder Bay.

All rural bus services for the city’s four local school boards are cancelled for the day due to unsafe roads.

Multiple Lakehead Public Schools are also closed:

• Crestview
• Five Mile
• Gorham Ware
• McKenzie
• Norwester View
• Kakabeka
• Valley Central
• Whitefish Valley

Even with the closures, the public city schools are still up and running, and the bus routes are on their usual schedules.
