Time is running out to go skating at the Emeral Oval in Halifax.

The city says it closes for the season this Sunday, March 16.

However, staff are monitoring ice conditions throughout the day and if conditions deteriorate, the Oval may close before Sunday.

The Oval will reopen this summer for rollerblading, biking, skateboarding, in-line skating and more.
