Gas and diesel prices expected to fall for N.B.

Pump prices are expected to drop Thursday night, according to an industry source.

Regular self-serve is driving down by 2 cents as well as diesel by 4 cents.

Currently, New Brunswickers are paying a maximum of $1.63 per litre for regular self-serve, $1.94 per litre for diesel and $1.58 per litre for home heating oil.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.59 to $1.61 per litre, while diesel sells for between $1.90 and $1.92 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.64 per litre, diesel costs around $1.96 per litre, and home heating oil sells for a maximum of $1.37 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
