It’s officially WE CARE Radiothon week.

The annual fundraiser for the Yarmouth Hospital Foundation takes place this Thursday.

Y95 will broadcast live from the Yarmouth Mall starting at 6 a.m.

Mary Surette with the foundation says it’s easy to donate.

“We do have a hotline the day of Radiothon, as well as online donations and e-transfer. We’d also love to see you drop in and make your donation in person,” said Surette.

Over $112 thousand was raised last year.

This year, the money is going toward infant incubators and scales, and a birthing bed.

Surette says the foundation’s main priority is healthcare.

“And that’s why foundations are here as funding and charitable organizations, to make sure our hospitals get the best healthcare possible.”
