Judge finds Port Hawkesbury pair guilty on sex charges involving youth

A couple from Port Hawkesbury have been found guilty on sex charges involving a youth.

The trial of Daryl and Shelley Digout ended last month, they faced sexual assault, exploitation and interference charges for an incident in 2020.

The accused went missing in May, 2023 after they were charged, but were found weeks later in Richmond County.

According to sources, a provincial court judge made his ruling and found the pair guilty.

They are due to be sentenced in May.
