Moncton has found a way to help you forget about the cold temps.
PolarFest returns for its third year.
It’ll be held February 15 to 17 at Centennial Park.
New this year, a Geomatrix fire show and community weaving project led by artist Mélanie Paulin.
Returning activities include sliding hill races, skating along the Muskrat Skating Trail, and an ice sculpture demonstration. Additional highlights include the Greater Moncton Scottish Association’s kilt skate, hockey games at the Kaboom Rink, and outdoor activities hosted by Resurgo Place and the Boys and Girls Club. There will also be food vendors on-site.
“We are excited to welcome residents and visitors to the third annual PolarFest,” says Moncton Mayor Dawn Arnold. “This festival showcases the best of winter in our region and offers activities for everyone to enjoy, free of charge.”
