U.A.R.B. invokes interrupter to hike diesel prices

By Kelli Rickard Jan 15, 2025 | 8:52 AM

If you’re filling up with diesel, you’ll be paying more for it Wednesday.

Nova Scotia’s Utility and Review Board invoked the interrupter clause at midnight.

The provincial regulator usually adjusts fuel prices on Fridays.

This unscheduled adjustment sees diesel up 5.8 cents a litre to a minimum of about $1.93 in the province.

Gasoline prices have not been affected.
