The emergency department at the QEII in Halifax is operating normally again.
In a statement on X Friday night, Nova Scotia Health said it was only accepting life-threatening emergencies after a partial power failure.
Due to a partial power failure, the QEII Halifax emergency department is currently accepting life-threatening emergencies only.

Just over an hour later, the hospital said it had returned to normal operations.
