Reports of his death started surfacing Friday night.
The Hall of Famer is Major League Baseball’s all-time stolen bases leader.
The “Man of Steal” is most known for his time spent with the Oakland A’s. He played for the Bay Area team four times in his career.
Henderson played with the Blue Jays for a short time and helped win the 1993 World Series with Toronto. He also played with the Yankees, Mets, Red Sox, Mariners, Padres and Dodgers.
Henderson was 65.
