A pre-Christmas snow storm will slow things down if you’re doing any last minute shopping or travelling to see family.
It is causing ongoing delays at the Halifax airport as windy conditions are hampering visibility.
Many fights into and out of Halifax are delayed because of the snow and icy conditions. Officials are asking travellers to check your flight status before heading to the airport.

Some parts of the Valley and Cape Breton and the Valley will see up to 30 centimetres or more. Winter storm advisories were in place in Inverness and Victoria Counties.
