Another big change if you ride the bus.
The Scotia Square bus terminal is reopening, after six months of detours.
There are five new bus bays that include wider sidewalks and waiting areas, additional and heated shelters as well as more seating.
In addition, Valour Way will fully reopen, which connects to the roundabout as well as Cogswell Street and transit lanes on Barrington Street.
It also means, the temporary bus bays at Granville St. before Duke St. and Barrington St. before George St. will be closing.
As part of the project, for the past six months, 30 transit routes have been on detour, affecting not only drivers, but riders, cyclists and local businesses.
It was to help in the construction of the Cogswell District Project.
The city says, to help riders find their way, members of the Halifax transit team will be on hand, wearing yellow vests.
