N.B. gas prices down this week

Dips at the fuel pumps just weeks before Christmas.

Price adjustments were made overnight by the Energy and Utilities Board.

Diesel users will notice a decrease of 2.4 cents a litre to a maximum of $1.76. Furnace oil is down 2.2 cents to $1.45.

Those who use regular self-serve fuel are paying 3.6 cents a litre less this morning.

The maximum is sitting at around $1.57

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.53 to $1.57 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.71 and $1.75 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.56 per litre, diesel costs around $1.79 per litre and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.19 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
