Another term for Pam Mood as president of the Nova Scotia Federation of Municipalities.
The Yarmouth mayor was re-elected for her second term at a meeting last week in Halifax.
Mood says the challenges facing municipalities are standard when it comes to things like housing and affordability.
“And things like coastal protection, things that affect all of us. My job is to bring those to the appropriate levels of government and see what happens from there,” said Mood.
She adds that mayors, wardens and councillors see people at the local level, and they want to do what’s best for all local communities.
Mood also served as NSFM president through the pandemic.
