A runner was assaulted in Yarmouth recently.

RCMP say it happened to a man Tuesday afternoon near the intersection of William and Albert Street.

They say two men grabbed and attacked him, bystanders then yelled and the men fled on foot.

The runner was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
