Temperature records broken across N.S. Tuesday

It’s the kind of weather that makes you want to fire up the grill.

Temperature records were smashed across Nova Scotia for Tuesday, March 10.

Environment Canada meteorologist Ian Hubbard says records were broken at nine of their stations.

“That includes a temperature of 19.9 degrees at Kejimkujik National Park, 17.3 in Halifax, and 14.7 in Port Hawkesbury,” said Hubbard.

But you might have to put the barbecue away again.

Hubbard says cooler temps are rolling in for the rest of the week, and there could even be snow in some areas.

“Unfortunately, we’re getting back to more seasonal temperatures, and with a little system pushing through Thursday into Friday, we’ll get more cooler temperatures right behind that.”
