It appears a man was shot in Dartmouth.

Halifax Police say just before 6:30 Sunday night, they responded to reports of gun shots in the Green Road area.

A man with life-threatening injuries was located, and the injuries were consistent with a gunshot wound.

Around 7:40 p.m, RCMP arrested a suspect in a vehicle near Flying Cloud Drive and Forrest Hills Parkway.

They say they aren’t looking for any more suspects, and are asking people to avoid the area.

Halifax Police say the investigation is continuing.
