Queens District RCMP are asking for the public’s help locating Peter Lawrence Whynot, 50, of Lunenburg County, who is the subject of a province‑wide arrest warrant.

Whynot is charged with assault, and police say they have made multiple unsuccessful attempts to locate him.

He is described as:

• 5’10”
• 265 pounds
• Short grey hair
• Blue eyes

Investigators are urging anyone with information on Whynot’s whereabouts to contact police immediately, but caution the public not to approach him.
