Nova Scotia’s Premier is talking offshore wind energy in the U.S.

Tim Houston is a keynote speaker at the Oceantic Network forum in New York, which attracts industry professionals from around the world.

He will promote ‘Wind West,’ and investment opportunities in offshore wind in a speech Thursday.

Houston also spoke at last year’s event in Virginia.

He says he’s excited to pitch the province as an energy superpower.

Last week, the province signed an agreement with Massachusetts to work toward common wind energy goals.

The Canada Nova Scotia Offshore Energy Regulator launched a call for bids to licence offshore wind in Nova Scotia last fall.
