A new partnership between a local municipality and university.

Clare and Universite Sainte-Anne announcing the collaboration agreement.

They say it will strengthen the cooperation between the two parties, united by shared values to make Clare a great place to be.

A joint working group will be set up for projects and priorities.

That includes the university participating in local life, having joint academic and sporting events, and more shared spaces.

University president and vice-chancellor Kenneth Deveau says the partnership is a benefit to social and economic development in Clare.
