eVisitNB to conclude virtual healthcare services

By Tara Clow Feb 9, 2026 | 6:07 AM

Virtual healthcare service provider eVisitNB has informed users by email that the service will conclude at the end of March.

In the statement, the Government of New Brunswick advised eVisitNB that the provincial virtual care services will transition to a new provider.

eVisitNB will remain fully operational until March 31, 2026, and there will be no changes to services until then.

Users will be able to access virtual care through eVisitNB as usual until that date.

According to the statement, users are asked to complete lab work on or before March 31 to avoid invalidity.

eVisitNB says they are working with Maple, the technology platform that supports eVisitNB, to ensure a smooth transition.

“Maple will communicate directly with you regarding access to your medical records and services after March 31, 2026.”
