A special election won’t be needed to fill a council seat in Shelburne.
Angie Shand was acclaimed in District 4 of the municipality after ‘Nomination Day’ on Tuesday.
Shand was the lone candidate who registered.
A special election was slated to be held on February 21.
District 4 covers Lower, Middle and Upper Ohio, Upper Clyde River, Welshtown, Woodlawn and Lake George.
