The Yarmouth Mariners have two big home games this weekend.

Friday night, they’re hosting the Valley Wildcats, and on Sunday afternoon at 4 they’ve got Summerside in town.

The Mariners are six points back of Amherst and Pictou County for a playoff spot, with the trade deadline Saturday at 6 p.m.

Yarmouth has points in four straight games, including getting three of a possible four points against the league-leading Bearcats last weekend.
