The province has released a 2SLGBTQIA+ action plan.
It’s meant to identify changes to policies and support inclusion and equity.
Attorney General and Justice minister Scott Armstrong says the plan reflects what they heard from the community, and challenges that are being faced.
He says the government is listening and taking action to make sure every person in the province feels welcomed and supported.
It was developed under the Dismantling Racism and Hate Act.
The province says it’s part of their commitment to respond to hate, and draws on voices of over 600 community members.
