The Macdonald Bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic this weekend as crews perform bearing replacement work, the final phase of a multi-year safety program.
The closure begins Friday, January 9 at 8:00 PM and concludes Monday, January 12 at 5:30 AM.
Pedestrian and cycling lanes will remain open, though intermittent delays are expected under on-site traffic control.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes such as the MacKay Bridge, consider public transit options and allow extra travel time.
Authorities recognize major events at the Scotiabank Centre and thank the public for their patience while this vital work is underway.
