Saint John Police seek man wanted on Canada-wide warrant

The Saint John Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Drake Farren, wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

A warrant was issued Tuesday, Jan. 6, for the 22-year-old after he breached the conditions of his statutory release by failing to return to Parrtown Community Correctional Centre in Saint John.

Farren is a first-time federal offender currently serving a five-year, five-month, 11-day sentence for:

  • Discharging firearm with intent
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle (x2)
  • Failure to comply with order – at large
  • Possession of a weapon contrary to prohibition order
  • Offence under Youth Criminal Justice Act (x4)
  • Unauthorized possession of prohibited/restricted weapons,
  • Motor vehicle theft
  • Obstructing a public/peace officer

Farren is described as 5-5, 200 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes.

He has visible tattoos in his facial area, specifically above his right eyebrow, corner of his right eye, the right side of his neck, and on his left cheek.

He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap with a white New York Yankees logo, a red zip-up hoodie, grey sweatpants, black sneakers with a white Under Armour logo, black rectangular glasses and carrying a sling bag.

Police are advising the public not to approach the suspect.
