Wondering what to do with your Christmas tree now that the holidays are over?

The Town of Port Hawkesbury says waste management will be collecting them this Thursday, January 8.

They ask that all decorations and objects are removed and trees are curbside by 7 a.m.

Trees can also be dropped off at Oaklee Bagley Field #5 in Grants Pond until Tuesday, January 13 by 10:30 a.m. for chipping.

Residents are welcome to use the wood chips for their own landscaping.
