Halifax Regional RCMP responded Saturday night to a report of an individual who had barricaded themselves inside a home.
The person was taken into custody at approximately 6:40 p.m. Saturday.
The incident occurred in the 13200 block of Highway 7 in Ship Harbour.
The RCMP reported on social media that the individual appeared to be alone in the home.
Police reported there was no immediate threat to anyone outside the residence, but the individual may have been armed.
