The first gas price adjustment of 2026 was a small one.

The Energy and Utilities Board made weekly price adjustments Saturday, due to the holiday on Thursday.

Gas is down a tenth of a cent a litre to a maximum of around $1.333

Diesel dropped one cent a litre, to a maximum of $1.692.

Furnace oil is also down about a cent to a maximum of $1.62.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.275 to $1.298 per litre, while diesel is selling for between $1.551 and $1.573 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.37 per litre, diesel costs around $1.66 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.23 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board normally adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
