Another seafood facility in the Maritimes has been destroyed by fire, this time in Eastern Passage.

Halifax Professional Fire Fighters say that they responded to reports of smoke in the air of Government Wharf Road just before 3 a.m., Monday.

When crews arrived, it was a working structure fire, and they remain on scene.

According to photos online it is The Lobster Dive.

This marks the third seafood building in recent weeks that was significantly damaged by fire including Aquashell Processing in Cumberland County and Stonehaven Lobster Co. in New Brunswick.
