A retired RCMP Officer charged with sexual assault was expected to appear in court this week, but the case was adjourned.
The Province’s Police Watchdog, Serious Incident Response Team (SiRT) has charged Sergeant Darrell W. Johnson with three counts of sexual assault.
The occurrences allegedly happened while the officer was a member of the RCMP and after his retirement between 2016 to 2025.
On October 4, he faced two additional charges for failing to comply with a condition.
He is now scheduled to appear in Wagmatcook Provincial Court on January 30, 2026, for all charges.
