An update on the new Clare Veterans Centre.

The municipality says they’re accepting reservation requests for the facility in Saulnierville but they need to be discussed in detail.

Some events have taken place there, but dates are limited and weekday bookings are not possible due to some construction work.

They say an official opening ceremony will take place in the new year once all the work is completed.

Clare and the federal government committed $2.9 million to the structure in the summer of 2023.

Construction began in September of last year.
