The Yarmouth Mariners start a three-game road-trip, needing crucial points.

They begin in Campbellton tonight, and will face the Chaleur Lightning tomorrow and Miramichi Sunday.

The Mariners are six points back of the Pictou County Crushers for the last playoff spot in the division, both teams have played 21 games.

Yarmouth added a new goaltender this week, Maxime Giguere.

He is the son of Stanley Cup winner Jean-Sebastien Giguere.
