The morning routines of some Queens County residents and beyond are disrupted.
Crews are responding to a power outage affecting nearly 3000 customers from Charleston to Kejimkujik Park on Wednesday.
Nova Scotia Power says the area includes West Caledonia, Middlefield, and Laconia and surrounding communities.
According to the NSP website it is due to a transmission interruption.
As of 10:00 a.m., the utility estimates electricity will be restored by about 12:00 p.m.
