The RCMP is asking for the public’s help after a couple was threatened with a firearm while sitting in their vehicle in Moncton.

Officers were called to Archibald Street around 11 p.m. on October 20 after reports of an assault with a weapon.

Two men approached the vehicle and got into a verbal altercation with the occupants, according to the RCMP.

One of the suspects then pulled out what is believed to be a black firearm and threatened the woman.

The suspects fled before police arrived. No injuries were reported.

Police said one suspect is described as an African Canadian man, between six-foot-one and six-foot-three, who was wearing a black hoodie.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic man, between five-foot-eight and five-foot-ten, who was wearing black gloves with skull imprints.

Anyone with information, or who may have security or dash cam footage from the area at the time of the incident, is asked to contact the RCMP at 506-857-2400.
