The number of Nova Scotians on the Need a Family Registry has plummeted by 8,106.
In a news release, Nova Scotia Health says as of November 1, there are 69,420.
The last number published before that was 77, 526 on October 1.
The number reflects those newly added and those removed because they either found a doctor or nurse practitioner or no longer needed provider for a variety of reasons.
The percentage of the population on the registry is 6.6 per cent.
Nova Scotia Health will update the registry again in December.
