The MHL All-Star Game is coming to Yarmouth.

The Mariners will host the game between the South and North division’s best on Wednesday, December 10.

Mariners team governor Jared Purdy says it’s a great opportunity.

“It’s going to be a very big showcase, you’re going to see best-on-best here at the Fishtank, and we’re really excited to put that on for our fans,” said Purdy.

Yarmouth will also have a Mariners alumni game on Tuesday, December 9.

Purdy says it will celebrate the team’s 23-year history.

“A lot of the local guys who have been part of the team, and a lot of fan favourites will be making their way to Yarmouth. We’ve also ordered some retro jerseys with the original logo and the fishermen’s logo. We’re going to put on a show”
