Parts of Nova Scotia is going to get a decent soaking.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the northeastern part of the province as well as Cape Breton.
The forecaster says 30 to 60mm is on the way but could be as much as 80mm for Inverness County, south of Mabou.
The rain is expected to start Monday evening and last until Tuesday afternoon.
Environment Canada says conditions may change rapidly with intense downpours and there is still uncertainty at this time where the heaviest rain will be.
