The RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance following a theft from a commercial trailer in St.Andrews.

Police said the incident is believed to have happened between 1:50 and 2:50 a.m. on October 19, when someone forcibly entered a trailer parked at a business on Prince of Wales Street.

Several items were stolen, including a Fusion specialty wire splicing tool, a laptop, and a number of power tools.

Police said a dark coloured compact sedan was seen leaving the area southbound on Harriet Street, but no further description of the individual or vehicle is available.

Anyone with information about the theft, or who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area at the time, is asked to contact the St. Andrews RCMP at 506-755-1130.
