The Town of Quispamsis is looking for the public’s input as it prepares to revamp two major roads.
Two open houses are being held so residents can have their say, with the first scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Wednesday night.
The topic of discussion will be Gondola Point Road.
The town is exploring how the road along the Kennebecasis River can be enhanced to be “a scenic and multi-modal transportation corridor for residents, visitors and commuters alike.”
Gondola Point Road is currently a two-lane road with no pedestrian or cycling infrastructure.
On Thursday night at 6 p.m., the discussion will shift to Hampton Road.
The town is undertaking a comprehensive redesign of one of the community’s most important roads.
The Reimagine Hampton Road project was announced in July, and includes plans to upgrade underground pipe infrastructure and improve the road for all users.
The project has been described as a generational one for Quispamsis.
Both open houses will be held at Quispamsis Town Hall at 12 Landing Court.
