One person has life-threatening injuries after a shooting involving an RCMP member in Eastern Passage.
RCMP say it was just before 2 p.m., Tuesday, when officers responded to a report of a physical assault at a home on Cedar Lane.
During the response, an officer shot their gun, a person was hurt and taken to hospital.
No one else was injured.
The matter has been referred to SiRT.
RCMP remain at the scene as of 3:30 p.m.
