Public engagement sessions continue as part of NB Power review

Additional public engagement sessions will be held this month as a review of NB Power is ongoing.

In-person sessions are planned for:

  • Miramichi – Monday, Oct. 27, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., in the banquet hall of the Miramichi Curling Club, 21 Cove Rd.
  • Caraquet – Tuesday, Oct. 28, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the foyer of the Centre culturel de Caraquet, 220 St-Pierre Blvd. W.
  • Bathurst – Tuesday, Oct. 28, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., in the upstairs lounge of the Bathurst Curling Club, 209 St. Andrew St.
  • Edmundston – Wednesday, Oct. 29, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., in République C of the Four Points by Sheraton, 100 Rice St.
  • Woodstock – Thursday, Oct. 30, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the New Brunswick Community College gymnasium, 100 Broadway St.

The review will continue through the fall with an interim report planned by the end of the year and final recommendations by the end of March.

Previous sessions were held in Moncton, Saint John, Saint Andrews and Fredericton.

NB Power recently applied for regulatory approval for a 4.75 per cent rate increase to electricity bills in April of 2026.
