The Dryden OPP have released more information about the tragic drowning of two people on the weekend on Wabigoon Lake.

Police were initially contacted around 4:00 Saturday afternoon about two people who entered the water and failed to surface.

The body of a 5-year-old boy was pulled from the water near Flat Rock Park Sunday morning around 7:15.

On Sunday evening, just before 6:00, the body of a 28-year-old man was recovered.

This the second time in two months, that two people have drowned in Dryden.
