Ups and downs for fuel this week in New Brunswick.

Some motorists are paying more, while for others,  prices are down this week.

Diesel prices rose with the weekly adjustments made by the Energy and Utilities Board.

It increased by 0.2 cents a litre to around $1.58.

Furnace oil increased by 0.1 cent to approximately $1.55.

The maximum for regular self-serve fuel is down by 2.2 cents to around $1.50.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.40 to $1.44 per litre, while diesel is selling for between $1.51 and $1.55 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.50 per litre, diesel costs around $1.58 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.19 per litre.
