Highway 104 in Antigonish County is open.

It was closed last night after a crash involving a tractor trailer.

RCMP tells our newsroom the driver has some injuries and was taken to hospital.

There’s no update on the extent of injuries at this time.

At first, responders were concerned about the load being hazardous.

Once it was deemed safe, the truck was towed off the highway quickly.

There was no damage to the load.

The accident had shut down the highway in both directions near Havre Boucher.
