There was a heavy police presence in Shelburne Thursday morning.

RCMP say they were conducting a search warrant in the early morning hours on Bulkley Street, in relation to an investigation.

Around 8 a.m, the street re-opened to traffic as some officers remained on scene.

They say there was no threat to public safety.
