More arrests for illegal lobster fishing.

The Department of Fisheries and Oceans says five people were arrested Saturday night in St. Mary’s Bay.

It was for fishing lobster traps they weren’t authorized to fish.

Their vessel was seized, along with 42 lobster traps containing over 1,700 lobsters.

DFO says an investigation is underway.
